How do I purchase a battery?:
How much does a battery cost?:
Your Zona Home Phone service is powered by equipment that connects to your homes power supply. In the event of a power outage, you will loose access to phone service including e911 if a battery in not installed inside the BBU/UPS. Batteries are optional, and can be purchased from Zona. A battery can provide stand-by time of up to eight (8) hours and talk times up to four (4) hours. Keep in mind that a corded phone (one that does not require power itself) would be required to make and receive calls during a power outage. Should a customer choose to purchase a battery, Zona recommends checking the status of the battery at least once per year, or more due to the warm AZ summers.
To purchase a battery, call the Zona office at (623) 455-4500 Mon-Fri 8 AM - 5 PM
Batteries are $18 dollars. If you request a field technician to install the battery, a fee of $46 would apply.
